The meal is a single 10-piece omakase built almost entirely from Noto and Toyama Bay seafood: aori-ika squid, shiro-ebi white shrimp, sweet amaebi, chewy bai-gai whelk and Noto hairy crab topped with its own miso. Every piece arrives already seasoned with salt, citrus or brushed soy, so the soy dish stays untouched. Two brothers make the sushi at the counter, and several reviewers note that they quietly turn each piece the other way for left-handed diners.
Nearly every review singles out the amaebi, which many call the best piece of the meal. The bai-gai, shiro-ebi, crab and a clean-tasting uni are also named often, as is the loose, small, warm rice. Add-ons draw just as much praise, especially the negitoro hand roll, engawa (flounder fin) and nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch). The brothers and the okami (proprietress) are described again and again as warm.
Criticism is minor. Diners at tables receive pieces in batches of three or four, which some found rushed, with the rice drying out. A TV runs above the counter. One reviewer found the floor staff unable to answer questions, and a few found the meal good but not moving.
Reviewers paid ¥4,400 for the omakase around 2024–2026. The price rose to ¥5,500 in April 2026, and one diner in October 2026 reported ¥6,500. Add-ons reviewers paid include the negitoro hand roll at about ¥1,600, aji at ¥550, unagi at ¥650, kohada at ¥500, tamago at ¥200 and an ume-shiso roll at ¥400. Expect around ¥5,000–6,000 at lunch, and roughly ¥8,000–8,850 per person for dinner with drinks.
Value is exceptional. Japanese reviewers repeatedly estimate the same meal would cost two to three times as much in Tokyo.
