This shop specialises in tanrei shoyu, a clear, refined soy ramen. The broth is layered from chicken, pork and fish stocks and made without MSG, and the noodles are made in-house. The tokusei (deluxe) bowl carries three cuts of chashu, each cooked a different way. Reviewers single out the rare-cooked shoulder. The kitchen also runs ambitious limited bowls; a summer mala tantan cold noodle draws regulars from some distance. The shop moved to this address in July 2024 and was selected for the Tabelog Ramen Kanagawa Tabelog 100 in 2025.

Guests consistently praise the three-cut chashu and the plump, ginger-scented shrimp wontons, which many recommend adding to any bowl. The long, silky noodles and the deep, punchy soy broth also earn steady praise. Many say every style holds up, from shio and creamy chicken paitan to tantanmen. Several mention friendly, upbeat staff.

The main complaint is time. After you are seated, waits often run 20–30 minutes, and one reviewer reported an hour from joining the queue to getting a bowl. Orders get mixed up, and wontons are sometimes forgotten and brought later on a side plate. A notable minority find the noodles too soft or the soy too salty and sharp. The room can be hot, and one visitor called it grubby.

Expect to spend ¥1,000–1,999 at lunch or dinner. Between 2024 and 2026, reviewers paid around ¥1,150–1,250 for a plain shoyu ramen and ¥1,530–1,730 for the tokusei shoyu. Add-ons ran about ¥350 for extra shrimp wontons, ¥150 for a large portion and ¥400–450 for seared-chashu rice. The limited mala tantan cold noodle was ¥1,900.

For ramen enthusiasts, the generous, high-quality toppings justify the price. Casual eaters used to ¥1,000 bowls often find it expensive.

  • Getting there: a 21-minute walk from Sagamihara Station on the JR Yokohama Line. Alternatively, take a bus from the south exit to the Civic Hall stop, then walk 3 minutes.
  • Payment: cash only, via a ticket machine. According to reviewers, it takes only ¥1,000 notes, so bring them. Credit cards, electronic money and QR payments are not accepted.
  • Booking: no reservations. It is walk-in only, so join the queue.
  • Queues: 15–20 people at opening on weekends. It is quieter mid-afternoon and in the evening. Service is slow even after you are seated.
  • Seats: 18 in total, with 10 at the counter and two tables for four. There are no private rooms and no private hire. Water is self-service, and rice dishes can sell out.
  • Smoking: non-smoking.
  • Parking: none at the shop. Reviewers say the city hall car park opposite is free for the first hour.
