Ramen Go (ラーメン 郷) is an officially licensed offshoot of Sumire, the famous Sapporo miso-ramen shop, and its owner trained there for about 15 years. The bowl follows the Sumire method. Sumire's own miso goes into a wok-fried base of onion, bean sprouts and minced pork, and a thick lid of lard seals it, so the soup stays scalding to the last mouthful. The short, yellow, curly egg noodles are shipped from Sapporo. The shop has been selected for Tabelog's Ramen 100 list in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Most reviewers single out the depth and intensity of the miso ramen and the thick, falling-apart pork-belly chashu. A surprising number rate the shio and the dark shoyu just as highly. The shio comes with grated ginger and yuzu-kosho on the side. Almost everyone adds gō-meshi, a small bowl of rice with chopped chashu and bamboo shoots. Service is quick, and the room is bright and clean.
The miso is unapologetically salty and oily, and some guests could not finish the soup. The shop itself suggests the shio for first-timers. Expect hot lard: reviewers mention burned mouths and splatter. Other complaints are the price rises, loud music and the restroom facilities.
Reviewers paid ¥980 for miso ramen in 2024, ¥1,150 through mid-2026 and about ¥1,200 since. Recent reported prices for extras are around ¥400 for gō-meshi, ¥150 for a seasoned egg and about ¥200 for a large portion. A full order with sides comes to around ¥1,780. Lunch and dinner cost the same: about ¥1,200 for a bowl and up to roughly ¥1,800 with extras. Most reviewers consider it good value for the quality and portion size, though a minority find ¥1,200 steep for ramen.
