Ramen Torikku (らーめん 鶏喰) has built its reputation since 2012 on one idea: a clear chicken-only broth, or chintan, made from five or six heritage breeds including Hinai-jidori and Nagoya Cochin. The broth is simmered in purified water and finished with a glossy layer of chicken fat. The shop has made Tabelog's annual ramen top-100 selection every year from 2018 to 2025.
Nearly every reviewer comes back to the broth. They describe it as deep and clean rather than heavy, and many drink the bowl dry. The thin, wheat-fragrant noodles and the yuzu-scented wonton are praised again and again. Regulars split between the shoyu (soy) and shio (salt) versions, and the chicken-and-bonito bowl has its own following. The tokusei bowl adds three styles of chicken chashu, including a charcoal-grilled thigh, plus a ginger chicken meatball with crunchy cartilage. The asari nokke gohan (clam rice) is a cult side, often finished with broth poured over it. Staff are described as polite and efficient.
Criticism is limited. A few reviewers find the soup too salty or oily. There is no large size and the soup portion is modest, so hungry diners should add a rice bowl. The room is tight, and one guest found it hot in September. One sceptic judged it simply good and not worth a long queue.
Reviewers in 2025–2026 paid around ¥1,200 for a standard shoyu, shio or chicken-and-bonito bowl and ¥1,450 with a seasoned egg. The tokusei cost ¥1,650 after a January 2026 price rise; it was previously ¥1,500. Among the sides, clam rice cost ¥450, spicy minced-chicken rice ¥500 and chashu don ¥600. Lunch and dinner both typically come to ¥1,000–1,999 per person.
Value is good. The tokusei is expensive for ramen, but reviewers consistently feel the ingredients justify it, and one called it underpriced.
