Рёан-дзи
Ryoan-ji houses Japan's most famous rock garden, with 15 distinct stones arranged so that it's said you can never see them all at once. There is also a beautiful garden and pond, and a restaurant specializing in yudofu (boiled tofu). The tofu is warmed in a simple kombu (kelp) broth and the sauce is served separately. In Buddhist cuisine, yudofu is one of the staple dishes.
