osteria due applies Italian technique to Okinawan ingredients. Its signature is a custom low-hydration fresh pasta made to order by an Okinawan noodle maker. It is thick and chewy, closer to Okinawa soba than to dried spaghetti, and rarely found on the island. Around it the kitchen builds dishes from local produce: prosciutto with island pineapple or mango, local octopus, shimanchu mushrooms and charcoal-grilled Kibimaru pork. Six of the 14 seats face the open kitchen, where you can watch the chefs work.
The housemade focaccia comes up in review after review, and most diners take refills. Among the pastas, reviewers single out shirasu with tomato or lemon, mushroom cacio e pepe and sausage with lemon cream. The grilled lamb and Kibimaru pork are praised for careful cooking. Starter platters, salted-coconut panna cotta and tiramisu also get regular mentions. English-speaking guests often describe the staff as patient and friendly.
Service is the weak point. One 2024 diner waited over two hours for a main and received the wrong dishes, and several reviewers find the young team a step short. A 2026 guest found many seafood dishes unavailable on arrival. Popular items can sell out by about 7pm. A few diners simply dislike the thick pasta.
Reviewers in 2024–2026 paid around ¥1,870–2,200 for lunch set A (starters, pasta, focaccia), ¥2,400 for set B, about ¥3,500–4,070 for set C with a main, and ¥4,200 for set D. Dinner courses ran ¥9,680–15,400. In 2022 à la carte lamb cost ¥4,500 and prosciutto with burrata ¥2,300. Wine by the glass started at around ¥1,100. Expect roughly ¥3,000–4,000 at lunch and ¥10,000–15,000 at dinner. Reviewers call lunch a bargain for the quality. Dinner is pricey for Okinawa but considered fair, at about ¥10,000 per head with wine.
