About 20 kilometers from Osaka. The site of the 1970 Expo in Osaka has been transformed into a park. It features gardens, the Expo Museum, the NIFREL aquarium, the Redhorse Osaka Ferris Wheel, the 109 Cinemas complex, and the "Tower of the Sun" sculpture by the renowned Japanese artist Tarō Okamoto.

One of the largest shopping complexes in Amerikamura, Big Step houses clothing and sports shops, art galleries, restaurants, second-hand record stores and pinball arcades.
