Sosaku Curry MANOS (創作カレー MANOS) has earned a devoted following for its unique approach to spice curry. Rather than sticking to one tradition, the owner-chef creates a rotating menu of weekly and monthly specials that fuse a Japanese dashi base with global influences, from Mexican-style carnitas keema to unagi eel curry. The main draw is the ability to order a combination plate (aigake) with two or three different curries, allowing you to taste them separately before mixing them together.

Diners consistently praise the signature MANOS chicken curry for its deep, roasted flavour, as well as the bold and inventive monthly specials. Plates are generous, served with a choice of jasmine or dashi-cooked brown rice and accompanied by plentiful sides like dal, achar pickles, and papadums. The staff are noted for being welcoming and helpful to non-Japanese visitors. The main criticisms are practical: the dining room is small, leading to regular queues, and popular curries can sell out before the end of service. A few diners have also reported long waits for food after being seated.
