GapricE is run by a husband and wife. The chef, formerly private chef to the ZOZO founder, cooks the savoury courses, and his wife, a pastry chef, takes over for dessert. There is one fixed nine-course menu. It always opens with a chilled pasta made from Ibo no Ito, from a celebrated hand-pulled sômen maker, topped with seasonal seafood. A hot pasta or a risotto of Ryû no Hitomi rice follows, then an Omi beef main and two plated desserts. The room is dark and spotlit, with cat motifs throughout.

Almost every reviewer singles out the opening cold pasta. Other favourites are the boneless fritto of hamo (pike conger) and anago (sea eel), the shiitake and truffle pasta or risotto, tender Omi beef rump and a warm brioche stamped with a paw print. The desserts are repeatedly called the high point. They end with neko-gashi, cat-shaped petits fours served with a warm financier. Service is described as brisk and well timed.

A minority found the seasoning salty and heavy, better suited to diners who drink. Two reviewers felt the chef was cold or the hospitality thin. One was refused a cancellation seat over food dislikes, and one found a 90-minute meal rushed.

Reviewers in 2024–2026 paid around ¥15,000 for the dinner course, rising to ¥16,500 including tax in 2026, plus a 10% service charge. The six-glass wine pairing was about ¥8,000, and non-alcoholic wine about ¥900 a glass. Totals ran to roughly ¥19,000 with two drinks and about ¥25,000 with the full pairing. Lunch, a similar nine-course menu, sits in the ¥10,000–15,000 band. Reviewers consistently call it good value for nine generous courses, and several asked for smaller portions.
