From an open kitchen, the chef prepares classic meals to order, served with old-school touches like a warm oshibori towel. The restaurant's undeniable star is the Chaliapin steak, a tender cut of beef or pork served sizzling on an iron plate, smothered in a sweet and savoury onion sauce.

Guests consistently praise the signature Chaliapin steak, with many regulars recommending the pork version for its flavour and value. Other favourites include the hand-formed hamburg steak with a rich demi-glace sauce and chunky onions, the large and crispy ebi fry (fried prawns), and the hearty menchi katsu (minced meat cutlet).
