MINOYA (み乃家) is the project of a single chef applying French culinary techniques to local ingredients, most notably in the restaurant's signature dish: a 100% pork hamburger. Made exclusively from local 'Seto-hime' pork, the patty is famous among diners for bursting with clear juices the moment it's cut. The focus is on a tightly curated menu that changes daily, showcasing the chef's skill beyond the celebrated hamburger.

Guests consistently praise the meat-forward, intensely juicy Seto-hime hamburger. The daily specials are also very popular, with reviewers frequently mentioning excellent homemade sausages, chou farci (a French-style cabbage roll), and roast pork. Other highlights include the generous seasonal soups, a substantial side salad served with a distinctive carrot dressing, and carefully prepared desserts. The efficient and friendly service, handled entirely by the chef, is another point of praise. Many describe the lunch and weekend courses as offering exceptional value for the quality.

The main drawback noted by visitors is the restaurant's small size. With only a handful of counter seats and tables, it is not well-suited for large groups and is often full. A few diners with larger appetites found the portion sizes modest. Reviewers in 2024–2026 reported paying around ¥1,650 for the Seto-hime hamburger lunch, with weekday daily lunches from ¥850. Weekend courses were about ¥2,480, and a dinner course was cited at ¥3,850.

  • Reservations: Recommended. The small dining room fills up quickly, and phone lines can be busy. Arriving early for lunch on a weekday may also secure a seat.
  • Getting There: An 8-minute walk from JR Yokokawa Station or a 5-minute walk from the Sanbaso-cho 1-chome bus stop.
  • Payment: Credit cards (VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX, Diners), electronic money, and QR code payments (including PayPay) are accepted.
  • Seating: 13 seats total, comprising 5 counter seats and 8 table seats. Not ideal for groups larger than four.
  • Children: Children are welcome.
  • Parking: No dedicated parking is available; several paid coin-operated lots are located nearby.
  • Smoking: The entire restaurant is non-smoking.
