Naha Soba Dokoro Takaramachi Ga serves Okinawa soba, wheat noodles in a clear broth, in a renovated house over 50 years old. There are tatami rooms, a garden and a café-style counter built around a tree. You choose between a 100% katsuo (bonito) broth and a clear chicken-and-pork stock, then add three toppings from a long list. The broth is made without chemical seasoning. Bowls are local yachimun pottery mended with kintsugi gold repair.
Almost every review praises the gentle, clear broth, and many diners drink it to the last drop. The slow-cooked pork comes up again and again: sanmainiku (pork belly), nankotsu soki (soft-cartilage rib, optionally seared) and tebichi (pig's trotter). Juushii, Okinawan seasoned rice, is a frequent highlight, especially the version with tuna, umibudo (sea grape) and egg yolk. Regulars return for the monthly specials and the gyuu moyashi soba with beef and bean sprouts. Many reviewers mention friendly staff.
The queue system frustrates some diners. You wait outside even when tables are free, and posted estimates run long: one 17-minute estimate became 30 minutes. The firm Kamehama noodles are too hard for some children and older diners. A few foreign visitors found the broth salty, bland or unfamiliar. Other complaints are weak air-conditioning, insect bites while waiting outdoors and recent price rises.
Most meals cost ¥900–1,600, at lunch or dinner. Reviewers in 2025–2026 paid ¥900 for nankotsu soki soba (medium), ¥1,000 for a large W sanmainiku soba plus ¥100 for a small juushii, and ¥1,200 for niku soba (medium). The Mensoore Okinawa set cost ¥1,600, and tuna juushii ¥480–500. Reviewers consider it good value for the ingredients and the generous meat, though one regular noted prices have risen about 1.5 times in recent years.
