Mizunobu Fruit Parlour Labo (水信フルーツパーラーラボ) is the creation of a Yokohama fruit merchant with a century of experience in sourcing Japan's finest seasonal produce. The specialty here is fruit parfaits, but not the kind laden with heavy cream and fillers. Instead, each creation is a carefully composed tower designed to showcase a single fruit at its peak of ripeness, layered with complementary house-made sherbets, jellies, and ice creams.

Guests consistently praise the exceptional quality and sweetness of the fruit, with many calling the seasonal peach and mango parfaits standout experiences. Other popular choices include grape, fig, and mixed fruit parfaits, all noted for their beautiful, jewel-box presentation. Even the self-serve water, infused with fresh fruit, receives frequent compliments.

Be prepared for a wait, as the intricate parfaits can take 15–20 minutes to prepare, and popular seasonal items often sell out. Some visitors find the mobile-only QR code ordering system awkward, and a minority have reported occasional brusque service. While most feel the prices are fair for the quality, those expecting large portions may find them small for a casual café setting.

Typical spend is between ¥1,000 and ¥1,999. Reviewers in recent years paid around ¥2,100 for a seasonal peach parfait, ¥2,000 for a mango parfait, and between ¥1,460 and ¥1,750 for mixed or chocolate parfaits. For fruit lovers, the quality and artistry are widely considered good value and worth a detour.
